Our Charity Work

After the disastrous flooding in and around north Yorkshire in the summer of 2019 Scott Trial organisers Richmond Motor Club set about doing everything they could to help local farmers recover. They also realised that some parts of the famous time and observation route had been so badly affected that the whole event was in jeopardy. They asked for help in funding structures to enable the very worst affected parts of the course to be bridged - Manchester 17 helped with a donation. This is what the team at Richmond did with the cash:

Regular August Bank Holiday Trial supporting The Heaton House BIG Weekend near Rushton Spencer. Thank you letters: 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 & 2010

Tower Trial 2015 - 2019 supporting The Rossendale Trust see https://rossendaletrust.org/

ACU Benevolent Fund - acknowledgement letter 2015

Did you know that Manchester 17 originated the idea and organised / financed (via donations) the first use of a rescue helicopter at the Isle of Man Manx Grand Prix back in the 1970's  click here for more about this
