Extraordinary General Meeting

The constitutional change.

At an Extraordinary General Meeting on 1 April 2025, the club unanimously adopted a new constitution so that Manchester 17 could become a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) registered with HMRC, while continuing as a company limited by guarantee.

The club describes the CASC structure as helping to protect its assets for sporting motorcycling into the future and allowing donations made for the cause of sporting motorcycling to be treated in a tax-efficient way.
