Helping motorcycle sport

Support for the Scott Trial.

Helping after the 2019 North Yorkshire floods

After the disastrous flooding in and around North Yorkshire in the summer of 2019, Scott Trial organisers Richmond Motor Club set about doing everything they could to help local farmers recover.

They also realised that parts of the famous time and observation route had been so badly affected that the event itself was in jeopardy. They asked for help funding structures to bridge the worst affected parts of the course — Manchester 17 helped with a donation.

Air Ambulance

Manchester 17 has supported both the North West and Midlands air ambulance services.

Club history

The Manx Grand Prix rescue helicopter fund.

Manchester 17 originated the idea and organised and financed, via donations, the first use of a rescue helicopter at the Isle of Man Manx Grand Prix back in the 1970s.
